Founder & Executive Director
Growing up as a Taiwanese child across Central and South America, Tina experienced firsthand how education—and especially language—can be a powerful bridge across cultures. That early exposure shaped her path as an educator, curriculum designer, and now a mom to bilingual triplets.
Tina holds an MA in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Taiwan University. With a background in foreign language education and curriculum development, she has spent years designing learning experiences that help students feel seen, supported, and challenged.
She founded Mi Talento Foundation to create inclusive, joyful, and community-rooted learning environments where every child can thrive. Mi Talento’s unique model empowers high school students to serve as coaches and mentors—building leadership and confidence in older youth while providing younger students with relatable role models who share their interests and cultural backgrounds.
Tina’s vision is to build a movement where youth talent is nurtured at every stage, and where students lift one another up through learning, connection, and community.
